Criminals will be convinced that the area is being electronically monitored and will go in search of an easier target. Another advantage of the dome camera is that the criminal does not know which direction the camera is pointing. We had a big problem with teenagers hanging outside our store everynighg, picking on fight, stealing our products, etc. Since my husband installed the fake camera, the kids are gone or at least behaving properly thinking that they are being watch at all times!
